Progress Guide Associate Program

Why: A life is lost to suicide every 40 seconds. We can all do more.

What: Emotional pain heals with hope, and you can bring the light of knowledge to heal the darkness that envelopes a mind in suicidal distress.

How: Through a global network of passionate pathfinders, the Progress Guide Associate Programs aspires to touch 10 million lives by 2040

Have an honest think about the following three questions:

  • Are you passionate about suicide prevention?
  • Do you love learning and supporting others to learn?
  • Do you enjoy networking and helping others make good choices?

If you have answered yes to all 3 questions, we would love to have a chat with you. You may be one of our pathfinders to help us reach our 10 m by 2040 goal. That’s it for us.

What’s in it for you?

  • Learn together: if you enjoy learning you will get the opportunity to train in a contemporary evidence based advanced suicide prevention program, without any expenditure. In time you can choose to join our faculty.
  • Grow together: you receive 20% of any sale you make, e.g. the Progress Guide program is priced at AU$ 50,000, a successful sale gives you AU$ 10,000, precious resources that you can use to achieve your life goals.
  • Better together: By supporting people make good choices about suicide prevention training you will form a lifelong partnership to learn from each others successes and challenges.

Before we begin our journey together, please understand:

  • We have a philanthropic commitment to bring training for free (or minimal cost) to Low and Middle Income countries. We believe that this nurtures our soul and gives us energy for the long run. Without this commitment we cannot be in partnership.

What does it involve?

  • As a pathfinder you will be authorized to:
    • Find innovative ways to take the different training products we provide to people who will benefit from suicide prevention training in health and social care, education and employment. We will provide all the marketing material (digital brochures, videos). If you are working in the suicide prevention field you may be able to use your existing networks and align the pathfinder work to your existing work.
    • Reach out to potential pathfinders on our behalf, however we will be going through a values alignment process prior to recruitment. You also make 5% of every sale, your recruited pathfinders make.
    • Be a provisional Progress Guide, and train towards joining the faculty by acquiring the essential competencies to facilitate the interactive exercises in the PROTECT workbook.
