Dr Sepehr Hafizi is a Consultant Psychiatrist working in CPFT. He trained in Biochemistry in Surrey and in Medicine in London. At UCL he completed MSc in Psychiatric Theory & Research and became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He moved to Oxford to complete research towards a DPhil in neuroscience and complete his higher clinical training. He has previously worked as a consultant in Early Intervention in Psychosis in Peterborough, and is currently working as an inpatient psychiatrist at Fulbourn Hospital, Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a College Research Associate at Wolfson College and an Associate Lecturer at University of Cambridge. His interests and publications are varied and include medical education, the medical humanities, psychopharmacology and suicide prevention.
